a highlight reel of musical moments:

The Varsity Show is a full-length annual musical that satirises student life at Columbia, of which alumni include Rodgers & Hammerstein, Tom Kitt, Brian Yorkey, Kate McKinnon, and Greta Gerwig.

After being forced to cancel our May 2020 show due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we began a large-scale overhaul, adapting it for a full-length, online movie format that released in early January 2021. For this show, my work included:

• Composing all music, working in tandem with a Creative Team including Lyricist, Writers, Director, Producers, Choreographer, Stage Manager and Art Director.
• Teaching music to a 13-person ensemble cast, including playing piano in music and choreography rehearsals.
• When production moved online, continuing to teach music via 1-on-1 Zoom sessions.
• Assembling and coordinating a pit band of 13 musicians spread across the US.
• Playing keyboard parts and programming all MIDI tracks.
• Co-orchestrating music and supervising all orchestrations.
• Being responsible for all aspects of Music Recording, Production and Mixing, to create professional quality recordings and cast album
